Here we are trying to explore the probable answers for the “The Headache Of The Year”. In this year we requested you to think about…… ”From Stone age to Information age, Human civilization has finished a mega race. At every stage it was raw material i.e. Stone for Stone age, Iron for Iron age, Semiconductor for Electronics age, Information for Information age which changed the Civilization and gave birth to new Industry. A Stone Age person never thought for Iron, an Iron age person never imagined about Electronics and before few years we never expected that Internet may become such a big industry. But we request you to open your third eye and dream for future. What is going to be next material, which will change us and give birth to next industry???” SOLUTION |

Do Or Die for Broadband - AN ANALYSIS |
|
BSNL and Bharti have recently launched their Broadband services with new basket of offers. Tariffs are attractive and expected to go down further. On an average it may cost around 500 per month to a person at home for 256Kbps. So we may conclude daily expenses at around Rs 17-18. This is under the budget for all of us. But there are few questions 1-Is it good for the operator? 2-Is it advisable for a subscriber? 3-Is it an attractive offer in true sense or something hidden? 4-Is it true always on Connectivity? 5-Is it really useful
for a common user? Let us try to find out
answers for all such questions. Operator needs to spend
huge amount to provide such services. Tariff and target both are set to
recover the expenditure of the cost as per market potential. It is
difficult to judge same in present context as Tariffs are expected to go
down with greater percentage as compared to depreciation cost. |
