Service providers need to re-evaluate there activities, they need to look on return and profitability of each activities and unrelated activities must be given to somebody else who can manage the things properly, in unpleasant word-look for Outsourcing.

There are several functions, which an outsider can do in better way, and there is no need to shy.

Services need experts and experts add further cost to company. Its unfortunate that everybody wants to do everything. Jumping in every service without understanding the side effect of the services may be fatal.

Relationship, virtual services and agreement to share the burden may be required in the changing scenario. We hope that our service providers will look on the better management of services and operation.

Since last one year, Tecmac was openly criticizing the Broadband policy and methodology used by service providers, regulators and government. Service Providers think that laying a fat pipe at each and every customer premises will make everyone to go for broadband. They were least bothered about the usability of the pipe and it has caused the major set back. Mobile segment is continuously doing better and we expect this growth to continue. In OSS/BSS lower order consumption patter may lead segment growth. DTH, online education and trade revenue will attract fresh investment. Micro market of such simplicity will demand for deeper business and technical understanding. Consumers may see fresh price cut, mainly in voice segment. In Data segment new services are expected to come but may be costlier. Industry outlook is good for vendors and we expect it to continue.
